Current Projects

Assessing the available hydrokinetic energy resource availability of the Gulf Stream off of Cape Hatteras.

Maintaining and refurbishing marine equipment used for Ocean Energy research.

Emergency fixing and upkeep on Coastal Ocean Radar (CODAR) installations along the coast of North Carolina.

Developing software for comparison between observational and model data of the Gulf Stream.

Personal Interests

Trip is a Carolina Panthers fan that enjoys snowboarding and spending time on the beach while reading a good book.  He also attends music festivals when he can find the time.
